PawTend

PawTend was envisioned by the client as a seamless, all-in-one platform to make managing pet boarding as simple as booking a hotel. They came to us with an outdated system and years of industry insight, and we partnered to rebuild the experience from the ground up. Over the course of a few months, our team designed a three-part system combining bookings, billing, and client records into a cohesive, intuitive workflow. Every decision aimed to reduce friction, save time, and create a familiar, high-end experience that transforms a complex process into something effortless for both staff and pet owners.

We built the platform using React and TypeScript on the front end, with Express.js and SQL powering the back end, and AWS handling cloud hosting and automated deployment. Design was led through Figma, keeping workflows intuitive across every user role. The system included role-based access, a service and pricing catalog, task boards, client messaging, and payment integration. Automated testing kept the codebase stable and maintainable throughout. The result is a reliable SaaS platform that works quietly in the background so staff can focus on the animals, not the admin.
